Emily is Eighteen!

Emily turned 18 today! She is an amazing girl, and we are lucky to have her as our oldest child. She has a lot of faith, and she is living a virtuous life, which is amazing in this day and age. She has read the Book of Mormon so many times that she lost count, and she has been a missionary in the way she acts when she is around other people, especially her peers. We are so proud of her and all the service she gives to others. She has a lot of empathy for people who are having problems, she's a good friend, and she is a great example to her siblings and her parents. And she's beautiful, too!
How exciting!

It's a sewing machine!

Getting ready to blow out the candles

I think Emily was worried about blowing out ALL those candles!

She did it!

So it was pretty much insane to think about Em being 18. . .her birthday is my half birthday after all so I always think about it. I was like, holy cow! I was so happy when I got a sewing machine! I love mine. It is awesome. I bet she'll put it to use!
